Natalka Sniadanko | Ukraine
(b. 1973 in Lviv ) – a well-known Ukrainian witer, translator of Polish and German literature, journalist. A graduate of Lviv University and University in Freiburg. She is the author of the books: The Passion Collection, or the adventures and misadventures of the young Ukrainian (2001, the Polish edition was published in 2005), Seasonal Sale of Blondies (2005), Sterility Syndrome (2006, the Polish edition was published in 2008 under the title Ahatanhel), Thyme in Milk (2007), The Land of Broken Toys and Other Journeys (2008), Bug Bungee (2009, the Polish edition was published in 2014 under the title Lubczyk na poddaszu), Herbarium of Lovers (2011), Frau Muller isn’t disposed to pay more (2013), and Tidy Trails of Archduke Wilhelm (2017). She is a winner of the Joseph Conrad Korzeniowski Literary Prize. Her books have been translated into German, Russian and Czech. She’s a holder of the Gaude Polonia scholarship. Lives in Lviv.
