Monika Adamczyk-Garbowska

A Polish literary scholar and professor of humanities who specialises in American and comparative literature. She is currently the head of the Department of Jewish Culture and History at the Institute of Cultural Studies at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. In addition to her academic work, she translates English and Yiddish literature and serves as an editor of the journal “Akcent”.  She is also a member of the editorial board of the “Polin: Studies in Polish Jewry” yearbook, which is published by Brandeis University in the United States.
