Polina Położencewa

(b. 1986, Zaporizhzhia) is a Ukrainian playwright. She has lived in Kyiv, Dnipro, and Zaporizhzhia. Her plays have been staged in Kyiv—at Dakh Theatre and PostPlay—as well as at the New Drama Theatre in Zaporizhzhia. Her works are available online via the Ukrainian playwrights’ platform UkrDramaHub. Among them are Someone’s Blood, Don’t Freak Out (which premiered at Wild Theatre in January 2022), and Grandma and Grandpa Have Sex (which debuted at the Kyiv Playwrights’ Theatre in May 2022). In July 2022, her play Save Electricity premiered at Baron’s Court Theatre in the United Kingdom.
