Orest Drul | Ukraine

(b. 1960in Stryi) – journalist, publicist, analyst, the editor-in-chief of the online magazine Zbruc.eu. In the 1980s he contributed to the underground literary magazine “Jewszan-zilla”,  in the early 1990s he was one of the authors and editors for the weekly “Post-Postup”,  and between 1998-2002 he served as the editor-in-chief of the daily “Postup”. He served as an editor for the magazine “Misto. Polis”, the Polish-language “Ukraine”, as well as for experimental TV projects. He is a member of informal groups of Ukrainian intellectuals – The Nestor Group, Univska Group, and the Zarvanytsia initiative. Winner of the Oleksandr Kryvenko Award for “Progress in Journalism”.
