Book launch”Obrazki filozoficzne”
A new book published by Workshops of Culture has just gone on sale. That’s “Philosophical Sketches,” a collection of literary essays and other miscellaneous pieces by authors from various humanities fields, primarily related to culture, philosophy, and literature.
About the Book
The book contains texts by outstanding philosophers such as Prof. Tadeusz Sławek, Prof. Bogdan Banasiak, and Prof. Piotr Bartula, as well as Lithuanian art researcher Dr. Basia Nikiforova, charismatic researcher Dr. Maciej Wodziński, and renowned ethicist and clergyman Rev. Prof. Alfred Wierzbicki.
This intergenerational book – half essayistic, half personal – was created as a dedication to Prof. Jadwiga Mizińska, a Lublin philosopher and writer who has been actively gathering numerous friends and creative individuals from Poland and around the world for several decades.
“Philosophical Sketches” was published as part of the Anchored series. This series encompasses titles that address the challenges of the present and future while maintaining their connection to the past – to what constitutes their foundation, historical context, value system, or even a single nerve anchored in time and place.
