Bella Szwarcman-Czarnota
A writer, journalist, editor, translator, and philosopher. An expert in the field of Jewish women’s issues. She translates from French, Russian, and Yiddish. She served as an editor at the State Scientific Publishing House in the philosophy department for many years. She also worked at the Archives of the Jewish Historical Institute, and served as the editorial assistant for the Bulletin of the Jewish Historical Institute. She was awarded the Stanisław Musiał Prize in 2016 and the Jan Karski and Pola Nireńska Prize in 2018. Currently, she works as an editor at Austeria Publishing. Currently, she is an editor and columnist for “Midrasz” and works as an editor at Austeria Publishing.
